Did i mention that my boyfriend is an amazing cook? Well, he is. He just made the perfect steak for dinner.
Here’s what he did:
Cut off all the fat and white stuff (
my terminology rocks, I know) from around the meat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Melt 1.5 tbspns of butter in a skillet. On high heat brown the steak for about 2 minutes (on both sides and make sure you poor the melted butter on top of it). Once the steak is browned, stick it in the oven at 225F for about 20 minutes. Take out and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve.
Bonus: that butter with steak juice on the bottom of the pan? Soak it with some bread and EAT it. It’s frigging delicious.
